Team Finley Racing gets good news from the doctor
today as Chad Finley will not require surgery to his thumb. After
several x-rays the specialist put a full cast on the young Chad
Finley's hand and advised him to sit out the next ASALMS race at I70
speedway to ensure the proper amount of time to heal. Another big
hit would only set him back. "This is not wear I want to be at this
stage of the season. I was hoping to get a release to get back
behind the wheel for I70 race. We got our 1st top ten there and i
was looking forward to going back." stated Chad. Team Finley will
once again require some assistance from a fellow competitor and Jeff
Finley comments " First off a big thanks to Robbie Pyle and his
gang. They helped us out a ton at Grundy county. We are very
thankful to them. We have spent a lot of time and money on Chad and
this race team this year building for the future. Chad is our driver
and we just need him healthy. Are finishes lately do not reflect the
hard work we are putting forth and we have found what we have been
doing wrong and are correcting it. I honestly believe we can win at
any time we just have to put it all together. We have been talking
to Danny Ouderkirk trying to put something together for I70 and are
preparing are cars for the October race at Lacrosse WI with Chad
back behind the wheel of our Car Quest Auto Parts machines. He is
scheduled to have his cast removed the 2nd of October. There is a
lot more going on behind the scenes that creates more problems with
his broken thumb as far as other commitments we have made. This race
team knows a quitter never wins and a winner never quits. All we can
do is regroup and get ready for lacrosse." Team Finley Racing would
like to thank everyone for there calls and emails and look forward
to getting back to the track.
Thank You.
