Team Finley Racing is getting ready for the 2008 season with some minor changes. With the past year behind them and looking in to the future team owner Jeff Finley decides to get back to the heart of his own personal career with a number change and explains why. " Having some time off and to think about things we felt like it would be good timing to change are number back to 42. I started my career with it and the same for Chad and we had a lot of success with it and hopefully we can get that back. The number means allot to me. It came from my hero and idle Gary Fedewa. As I looked back at last year and all that we went thru I thought this change may bring back some self confidence for all involved. We are currently getting motors out to be checked and updating the arp bodies on the cars and looking to improve our program as a whole. We are in search for sponsorship for the 2008 season as well. Car Quest Auto Parts will be back as well as everyone that helped last year. We have room for a major and a associate sponsor for next year. If we can get some support for those areas on the car that will indeed enhance our performance". Team Finley heads to the ASA awards banquet in January to accept its check and awards for there 11th place finish in owners points for the 2007 season.
