News Room: January 13, 2008

Team Finley Racing is hard at work in the DeWitt, Michigan race shop. Coming into the 2008 racing season, the team and I have high expectations and are ready to do battle! As for me (Chad Finley) I personally am 100% healthy and ready to get back into my ASA Late Model Series machine sporting the new / old familiar #42. After spending time in the off-season getting healthy and working out, and with the way that I'm feeling makes me excited for the upcoming season. We are currently working on some sponsorships for the upcoming year and I will update everyone as each of the potential sponsorships progress. The ASA Late Model Series cars are ready to be shipped up to Howe Racing Enterprises just up the road in Beaverton, Michigan. When the cars reach Howe, they will be getting new suspension updates to bring them up to date and in turn, we'll be able to try a whole new package to help our struggles and improve our knowledge. This weekend (Friday and Saturday January 18-19, 2008) we will be making the trip down to the Clarion Hotel and Convention Center in Louisville, Kentucky for the 2007 ASA Late Model Series Awards Banquet and Weekend of Champions to accept our check and rewards for our 11th place finish in the 2007 ASA Late Model Series Northern Division Owners Points Standings. I would personally like to thank Columbus, Ohio veteran, Robbie Pyle, as well as Kansas City, Missouri driver, Mike Vannoy Jr. (Congratulations to Vannoy Jr., on his Rookie of the Year title at I-70 Speedway in the tracks' ASA Late Model Division) for filling in during my unfortunate absence after I was hurt in Cedar Rapids, Iowa over the Labor Day Holiday Weekend. Last but not least, our great friend from Leslie, Michigan, former multi-time Auto Value Super Sprints Series Champion, Tommy Fedewa; Thank You for also filling in during my absence and for racing my car at the LaCrosse Fairgrounds Speedway in West Salem, Wisconsin during the 2007 Oktoberfest Weekend. I am excited to have Carquest Auto Parts back with us in 2008 as well as all of our Associate Sponsors from 2007. My plans for this season call for us to race the entire 2008 ASALMS Northern Division Schedule beginning on Friday and Saturday April 11-12, 2008 at the famed Toledo Speedway in Toledo, Ohio. In addition, we plan on racing locally here at home in the Outlaw Bodied Super Late Model at the Spartan Speedway and the Owosso Speedway as often as we can. I will also be making select appearances at the Dixie Motor Speedway and the Auto City Speedway in their special events too. So it looks like a very busy season for myself and the entire Team Finley Racing crew. Thank You so very much for all of your support in 2007 and please continue to do so in 2008 and support our marketing partners when you can.

Thank You.
